Kiddos

Liam's 5th Birthday

I know it sounds cliche, but how did 5 years already go by? I'm not sure if it's because we have 3 kiddos that keep us extremely busy, or if time really is going by too quickly these days. Either way it still makes me sad, and I try not to think about tomorrow and only worry about what's going on today. With 3 kiddos and 2 pups that consume all of my time and attention it makes it much easier to not worry about tomorrow and enjoy one day at a time.

We asked Liam what theme he wanted for his birthday and much to no surprise he wanted a Iron Man party. This kid is obsessed with Superheros, mainly Iron Man and that makes Bobby one proud Daddy.

Since this is Liam's 5th birthday we wanted to make it a big deal for him. About mid September, Bobby started working on his Iron Man suit in the garage. There were nights he would stay up till 3 or 4 in the morning working on it, since that was the only time he had. He is such a dedicated Hubby and Daddy that he would get off work about 5, eat dinner, help me clean up, play with the kids, give baths and tuck them in for the night, and then about 9 go out to garage to work on it.  He worked his butt off and finally the first week of December he put the finishing touches on it. It came out amazing and everyone loved it!

First stop: Surprise and deliver cupcakes to Liam at school

Party favors

Iron Man masks, arc reactors and gloves. I'm not into the Iron Man thing so I just did what Bobby and Liam told me to do.  After I finished sewing the red masks, Liam wanted black ones too. Apparently there's a black one too..

It was hard to get these guys to sit and eat

Since Nana was still in the hospital, Papa got to sneak away for a couple of hours

Josh was a bit scared

Brooklyn wasn't too sure either

At this point Lennon was cranky since he missed his nap

Our Elf on a Shelf didn't come to our house on December 1st because the kiddos weren't behaving, and luckily he decided to surprise them at the party

After a long day he was excited to play with all his new toys
