Trinity's 8th Birthday

Well these past 8 years flew right by us. It's so weird that when your a child, time seems to drag on, and when you become a parent you wish time would stand still.. Since we know that isn't possible, we try not to rush things and just enjoy the simple things in life.

Tuesday November 6 (no school/election day)
Breakfast time
Dollar store play dough is hit and miss
Thankfully this was a hit
Birthday dinner @ Red Robin with Tia and Tio (not the best  picture)
Exhausted from decorating

Everyone enjoyed the crafts

First Sleep Over

Trinity officially had her first sleep over with a friend from her class. (at our house, of course) She may be ready to go sleep at a friends house, but I defiantly am not ready for that just yet. They had lots of fun and many giggles all night long....

They played outside with Sara

I don't think Sakeena wanted to play that game

Ice Cream Sundaes

It's 11:30 pm and still going strong

Trin was nice enough to let the guest sleep on the big bed

Daddy made them yummy pancakes for breakfast

Treats, pumpkins and Trick or Treating

Once October comes around time just seems to fly right by us. Now that the kids are getting older :(  we have more running around and lots more things to do; field trips, parties, fall festivals, pictures, homemade goodies to make, decorating, carving pumpkins, and of course Trick or Treating...

Liam wanted to take spidey cookies for his party at school
He had a blast making them
He didn't want to carve his pumpkin
He decided to make silly face ones instead
Concentrating very hard
He is very proud of his artwork

She was pretty impressed
Trinity has always loved ghosts

Ghosts for treats, pjs for party
Liam tucked him in for the night

Trick or Treating at Dad's work
Ready to Trick or Treat in the neighborhood

Ghost goggles on and ready to go
Trick or Treating at the neighbors house (Liam was unsure about the REAL snake in Todd's hand)
The boys got tired so we came home before Dad and Trin

Liam and Lennon helping Dad and Sissy go through the candy
Lennon had a blast, everywhere he turned he found candy
Testing the candy
I guess it passed inspection
He kept saying "just one more candy"
So "we" gave him what he thought were skittles (Lemonhead)
Dinner at Chili's before Trick or Treating
Showing off her chocolate mummy with a mustache
